Episode 9: Elyshia Brooks Is the way you think keeping someone in an abusive relationship?

Right now the odds are you know someone who’s being battered, verbally or financially abused. The numbers don’t lie. 1 in 3 women and 1 in 4 men. Finding a way to help can be tricky. How we judge each other keeps them from speaking up. My guest Elyshia Brooks is President of BrandNiquely You! Inc., a Personal and B2B Brand Strategy Boutique. Elyshia mentors hundreds of women locally and abroad on personal mastery, self-love and specifically on the topic on Abuse through Domestic Violence and Mental Wealth. She's beautiful, smart, finishing her doctorate at Walden University. She has one adult son who plays professional basketball overseas and she realized it was the opinions of others kept her from telling anyone she was raped and later involved in an abusive marriage. Is your opinion... your words keeping someone from safety?
